Well, it's obvious...we have snow! We didn't have a chance to get into it until today. Gabe absolutely loved it...except for Mommy throwing snow in his face. I couldn't miss the opportunity. ;) I guess you could say that we didn't last long since the temperatures have been in the low teens and single digits. We at least got our documentation in for the season...hopefully spring will be here soon...it's time to start training for the mini-marathon. Can you tell I enjoy warmer weather? :) Have a good night!
This is a picture from last weekend of my friend Shelly, www.shellyvalentinephoto.com, and I. We were busy snapping pictures for the 2007 selection of "Wedding Dreams by Linda." Linda is located in the Fort Wayne area and has over 300 events a year. She is amazing and has quite the reputation. She has been sending referrals our way so we were trying to help her out a bit for 2007. While we were there I had the opportunity to meet a handful of brides that we will be working with this year. It was absolutely wonderful to meet them and the food....oh, so good. :)
I had the privilege of meeting the Harris family. They were absolutely lovely. We had a wonderful time capturing the exquisite moments you will see below. I have done quite a few newborn sessions within the past couple of weeks (as you can see:) and there is definitely something magical about these times. It is as if time stands still because you do not want these precious moments to fade. Life happens too fast and times like these stand as a good reminder to focus on today and enjoy it for what it is.
Ron and Rebekah, It was an absolute pleasure meeting you and your sweet family. Enjoy the pictures...I can't wait for you to see the rest of them. Blessings...Melody
Baby Grace was born just two weeks ago. Wow! Isn't she precious?? In case you couldn't tell...Baby Grace has a proud big sister who is always willing to help Mommy out. What a sweet family... We are so thankful to have gotten to know the Stewart family over the past year.
It has been an honor to document these precious moments of your life and we are anxious to document them again. :) Thank you for choosing us. I can't wait to show you the rest of the pictures. Blessings to all of you!
We love our die-hard couples who want their pictures taken regardless of the temperatures outside. On Saturday, was Josh and Britney's turn. Josh is actually Jeremy's brother, in case you couldn't tell. :) They are getting married in July and we are so excited for them! They are so in love and we can't wait to take pictures at their wedding. Anyway, we got some amazing shots and had a lot of good laughs. We only had to take one time-out to warm up at Starbuck's, which I didn't think was too bad considering the temperature outside. Josh and Britney, we love you and are so happy for you! Enjoy!
It is finally going to happen...the Colts are going to the SUPER BOWL!!!!! Yeah!!!! What an awesome day to live in Indiana. We just finished watching the game--which was unbelievable--and I had to post this picture from our engagement session we had downtown Indy on Saturday (which I will post tomorrow:). I told Jeremy to take a picture of it in hopes that we would win tonight and that we did. Woo-hoo!! I must say that it is an honor to live in a state where the team is founded on faith and determination. Go COLTS!!!!!!!!!!
How adorable are these twins?? I had so much fun taking pictures of the Osborn twins. They just turned one and needed some photos to document this precious time. As you can see, we had some good laughs...from docile moments to dressing like mommy and daddy to enjoying cake for the first time. There were times when I couldn't stop laughing...luckily, no camera shake. :) Anyway, thank you to the Osborn family for letting me take pictures of their adorable children. Hopefully, we will be able to do this again in the future...maybe without the cake. :) Blessings to you.
